THE 2010 NAMI CLERMONT COUNTY WELLNESS WALK, our major fundraiser, is just around the corner--October 2. Join us and Jen Dalton of Local 12 at Veterans' Memorial Park-the "Helicopter Park", 906 Clough Pike, Union Township, OH 45245. Registration starts at 8:30 and the Walk at 9:30.
Since all NAMI services are free, we depend on individuals, businesses, and organizations for financial support. Due to large funding cuts to the State and local mental health budgets, support, education, and advocacy are needed more than ever. In a time where economic pressures are causing additional stress and mental health issues, treatment options are becoming limited.
That's why we need you to join the Walk! It is easy to register, form a team, and/or make a donation at the walk website www.firstgiving.com/namicc or through a link at www.nami-cc.org. Walking or working at the Walk is FUN and a great way to reconnect with old friends.
If you would like to register on paper, just call the office at 528-5500. If you are not able to have your own team, we'd love for you to join any existing team!
NAMI IS RANKED ONE OF THE "TOP 100 CHARITIES MOST LIKELY TO CHANGE THE WORLD" ACCORDING TO WORTH MAGAZINE. MAKE THAT CHANGE POSSIBLE!
